Do I have to join Club Monkey Puzzle to use Woods Cottage, the Tournerbury Woods Estate or any of the yachts, powerboats or other activities?

No you don’t have to join the Club. However, many of the activities are not available to non-members (i.e. shooting, quad biking etc). Non members are not entitled to members discounts and therefore pay full retail rates.

If I join Club Monkey Puzzle, do I then have to pay again for use of the cottage, boat etc?

No. The annual membership charge gets converted into points that get burnt off as you use the club facilities. The points prices for members is discounted against our retail rates. For instance, our RIB Monkey Puzzle is normally chartered at a day rate of £425 per day, whereas a Club member will use up 320 points (£320 of their annual membership charge). We offer a couple of services to our members that are invoiced separately to the points system, these are namely catering services, baby-sitting and beauty therapy services.

How many people can Woods Cottage accommodate?

There are 4 bedrooms, 2 with double beds and 2 rooms with twin beds. There is also a travel cot available and a sofa bed in the dining room.

If I or my business becomes a member, how do I book time at Woods Cottage or other activities such as using the RIB Monkey Puzzle?

Use of the Cottage is on a first come, first served basis. You check availability on the online calendar in the members area of this web site and e-mail us at booking@clubmonkeypuzzle.com  . We then book your request into the online calendar with your CMP membership number against it. Requests for other activities can also be included within your booking request e-mail. Please note that third party supplied activities – such as kite-surfing / windsurfing lessons are subject to our partner suppliers’ Terms and Conditions, availability and cancellation policies.

Is catering available?

Yes. We use 2 excellent local chefs who we have known for years and also a small team of hosts and hostess's to look after your every need if and when required. Some of our members just want to be left alone from the moment they arrive, others want all activities and catering planned and organised in advance, it's entirely up to you.

For corporate events, how large a party can Woods Cottage take ?

We have held several large parties and a couple of weddings at Woods Cottage. The maximum we have had at any one time is 200 persons. Large parties are normally held on the cottage's West lawn using one of our marquees.
